I knew the moment I spun out of the neighborhood last summer on my new Schwalbee Duranos that I was having to push harder. It felt like my brakes were dragging the rim. This proves it. Last place. But they have been bullet proof when it comes to flats. I give 'em that.

Hey Meech-does being able to cruise at 40kph really even apply to you with any tire? And besides, how fast are those skinny things on a muddy cx course??
ReplyDeleteThere was a time when I could cruise at 40 kph for a fair amount of time but those days seemed to have passed me by. But if a tire could help me I would most definitely invest in it. Your second question does not apply to me because I don't ride in the mud. I prefer to go faster than that. However, my favorite tire size of all time is 32c pumped up to about 70 psi.
